God brought my family to FBC in December of 2024 and we have been blessed to join in on the wonderful things God is doing here. This is a strong church with a strong ministry presence in the Henderson area. We are so excited to see how God grows and leads us together as we seek to share Jesus with people and teach about His good news!

When I was a child, I called out to God and believed in the work Jesus accomplished on the cross, and God saved me from my sins . When I was a teenager, God began moving me toward ministry as I became more passionate about the Bible and following Jesus more closely. After high school, the Lord led me to Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in Pineville, Kentucky, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry. While at college, I married my beautiful wife Summer, a Chester County native, and took her with me back to college, where she also received a degree in ministry. 

After college, God led us to North Mississippi, where I served as a youth minister for three years while I finished a Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Liberty University. The Lord then moved us to Jackson, Tennessee, where I served as youth minister at Meridian Baptist Church for three years. During our time at those two churches, God gave us two wonderful children, Bear and Zion Grace. 

The Lord has been good to me all my life and carried me through trials and difficulties. My relationship with God through Jesus gives me hope, joy, and purpose more than anything else in life. My life goal is to help as many people as I can find Jesus and the hope that He gives. My life verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." I have discovered the more I put my hope and trust in Christ, the more strength I have to face whatever comes my way. That is why I want as many people to know about Christ as possible!
