With Palm Sunday only a few days away, I hope you are preparing your heart to Worship King Jesus! Let the excitement build, let your heart sing, move your thoughts toward the One who was preparing to die and set you free from the penalty of sin! That’s what the proclamation “Hosanna” is all about!

The Hebrew word, “hoshi’a na,” is translated in Greek as “(h)osanna.” The original intent of the scripture is to “Save!” Why? Because we realize we cannot save ourselves. In our spiritual lives, our only hope for saving is found in the name of Jesus. So, cry out like they did when Jesus entered Jerusalem in Matthew 21:9, “And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “’Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!’”
