Have you ever just not known how to pray? I get it’s a conversation with God, but there are occasions when I just don’t know what to pray! That gets lost on me some of the time. I talk with God but I’m really not praying for anything specific, I just pray and listen. That was the case this morning! I didn’t know what or who to pray for so I asked God to tell me.

I asked God, “Lord, who do I need to lay at your feet?” I keep praying, “Lord, I ask Your healing upon______ and open the eyes of _____ that they might see You.” I prayed and started reading scripture.

As I was reading and praying through God’s Word, He spoke to me as I pondered Isaiah 12 which is a Hymn of Praise. It says, “On that day you will say: ‘Give thanks to the Lord; proclaim His name! Celebrate His deeds among the peoples. Declare that His name is exalted.’”

As I heard from God I realized that was exactly what I needed. I just needed to PRAISE HIM!!  God said, “Say to the people – Give thanks – Proclaim His name – Celebrate His deeds – Exalt Him!” I learned…remembered something. God is always good to teach us if we allow ourselves time with Him in His Word!  To God be the Glory!!
