This is supposed to be a wonderful and joyous time of year. There are so many things to celebrate: winters turn to spring, warmth filling the air, the evening’s sun still bright past 6:00 pm, oh, and the most wonderful thing…our celebration of the Resurrection of King Jesus!! There is nothing more glorious than to understand the Gospel message and have responded to Him!

As we make our way to that Sunday a couple of weeks away, help me invite the lost and unchurched to join us on Easter Sunday! From a statistical perspective each church member knows about seven (7) individuals who are without Christ. I think that number is low; however, if we would invite them, more than 80% of those said in a recent survey that they would attend a church service. If that is true and we the church invites our unchruched family and friends, we would have more than 1100 people at FBC on Easter Sunday!! Yes that number is right!! Will you join me in this journey to make FBC a lighthouse of the lost and hurting? I can tell you from a biblical perspective that is why we are here! Let’s get busy, lives depend on it!
