For weeks a six-year old little boy kept telling his first-grade teacher about the baby brother or sister that was expected at his house.

One day the mother allowed the boy to feel the movements of the unborn child. The six-year old was noticeably impressed, but made no comment concerning the baby. In addition, he stopped telling his teacher about the impending event.

The teacher finally sat the boy down one day before recess and said, “Tommy, what has become of that baby brother or sister you were expecting at home?”

Tommy burst into tears and confessed, “I think Mommy ate it!”

Out of the mouth of babes! Well, Its Mother’s Day this Sunday! Are you ready to celebrate the one who gave birth to you, to let her know how much she is loved? I hope you have an opportunity to tell her, but if not, I believe she already knows!
