Compromise is an area in which many of us excel. We have a belief system in place, however, when push comes to shove, we give in and go with the flow. As we will see over the next few weeks, Daniel was a man in the Bible who would not compromise his belief system. As a reward, God blessed Daniel!

Like Daniel, we must decide what we will and will not do before we are faced with a situation. We should make a decision not to defile ourselves with the world’s way of doing things, but, remain faithful to God.

Daniel gives us a couple of principles for taking such a stand. 1) He purposed/decided before hand where he stood. 2) He trusted God completely with his situation. Are you ready to decide where you stand and will you trust God completely right where you are?

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the ways of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10 & 11
